The key is consistent daily or weekly deposits in the business bank account.
Common non-processor businesses include wholesale distributors, B2B service providers, contractors who invoice on terms, and cash-heavy operations like laundromats or car washes. Funders underwrite these deals purely on bank statements — they want to see average daily balances, deposit frequency, and no signs of account manipulation (round-number deposits, manufactured activity).
Deal sizes for non-processors vary widely depending on deposit volume. Expect slightly higher factor rates than processor-based deals because the funder has less visibility into daily revenue. If your merchant has clean bank statements with consistent deposits of $10K+ monthly and no NSF activity, they can still get competitive offers.
Wholesale and distribution businesses need to buy inventory in bulk from suppliers. Payment terms are often COD or net-15, requiring cash on hand before the goods are resold.
B2B businesses that invoice clients on net-30 or net-60 terms often wait weeks for payment while still covering payroll, rent, and operating costs.
Laundromats need new machines, car washes need equipment upgrades, and vending operators need to buy and place new units — all capital-intensive investments.
Service businesses with crews — cleaning companies, landscapers, moving companies — need to pay workers weekly regardless of when clients pay their invoices.
